Car related, of course.

Kinja'd!!!

In 2000, my sister bought a Civic LX almost identical to the one pictured. It was that light blue metallic and had the light blue cloth interior - all in all a nice car for an 18 year old girl’s first.

This morning, I was awoken in the middle of a dream involving that car. My sister was driving, and I was in the back seat with my wife. Kim Kardashian was in the passenger seat.

Now, I’ve never watched her TV shows or anything, and I only know her voice because of her appearance on Wait Wait, Don’t Tell me. But she was talking about Kanye’s ego and so on and so forth.

Then the pug licked my face so I could let her out to poop.

Completely off topic, but do you ever do bespoke interiors, or do you mostly go off of factory recommendations and patterns? I’m going to have my BRZ long term as a daily driver unless it’s totalled and am kind of thinking about making it more comfortable and like a grand tourer than a race car by having a nice leather interior put in with maybe some wood and extra soundproofing.

We can definitely do a custom leather interior at any CST branch but it’s sewn off of the factory patterns. Some branches have true trimmers who can take a hide and put it together completely custom but labor for that can be expensive. I’d say take a look at colors and materials - we have Ultrasuede (alcantara without the Italian price tag) as well as a few other exotic materials.

As far as wood trim, check with branches because different places offer different packages and services.

You’re in Florida, right? There are branches in Miami, Tampa, Orlando, and Fort Myers . It usually takes about three days to get custom colors in, and if you want 100% leather (as opposed to the typical leather/vinyl mix) you will pay more because leather is that much more expensive and it doesn’t stretch like vinyl. Installation is a lot more labor-intensive.

Here’s my retail price list for Charlotte:

Awesome, thanks! I’m in Fort Myers, so that works out.

So I don’t know if this is exactly what you want but:

I know a few people who have used these before on other cars and they turn out really nice. I might be getting some for the C30 soon because I really like the dark wood finishes.

I’ve seen those before, but that’s not really what I’m looking for. I’m looking for something more extensive.

If you ever make that happen I’ll be very interested in seeing it.

I hate to say it but I prefer luxury to sports cars for daily living

I already have a loud, obnoxious, stripped race car, so I want some more comfort in my daily. I’m thinking upholster the entire interior with a lighter colored leather and add soundproofing.
